Will Royal Challengers Bangalore qualify for the Play-offs in IPL 5?
It is the last day for the league matches in the IPL 5th season today, and we are going to see one strong match between the Royal Challengers Bangalore and Deccan Chargers, which would decide whether the powerful Bangalore team would qualify for the playoffs for this season or not.
Will Chris Gayle firepower Bangalore to another win and qualification for the playoffs?
Delhi Daredevils are on the top of the table, followed by Kolkata Knight Riders and Mumbai Indians. Mumbai has 18 points, and Chennai, Bangalore have got 17 points each. One of the teams which qualify here for the playoffs would go to 3rd place and push Mumbai to the 4th place which has almost fixed their position for the playoffs.
Royal Challengers Bangalore have got the strong attack from Chris Gayle who has scored more than 700 runs in this single season, and more than 50 sixes. His continued form is needed for Bangalore to bring out a sparkling win, but Deccan Chargers are unpredictable because they took all the chances of Rajasthan Royals going to playoffs after thumping them at their home ground in Hyderabad.
So, would it be one of them qualifying or both sending Mumbai out, which is possible only if it rains and match is abandoned. If Chennai is out, they won’t be able to try to defend the IPL title they have been holding since the past 2 years.
